manuscript markup workshop materials

Christian Wittern and I are going to conduct a workshop in how to markup Buddhist manuscripts at the upcoming conference in Oslo on “Early Chán Manuscripts among the Dūnhuáng Findings“. I have put up some of the the handouts and materials for the Manuscript Markup Workshop here:

We will work with TEI and address how to transform the encoded texts via XSLT and XQuery. There are huge amounts of manuscript witnesses in all Buddhist languages waiting to be edited. Fun for years (generations?) to come.
